About

b. 1986, HK.

My name is Victoria and I am a freelance branding and digital marketing specialist. I have taken a somewhat unconventional career path full of twists and turns that have helped me generate a unique set of skills. During my undergraduate degree I studied English, Human Biology and Psychology. I eventually went on to complete a M.Sc. in Laboratory Medicine and gained acceptance into Western University's School of Medicine. After careful thought and consideration, I decided my career was sorely lacking in creative outlets and I declined my position at Western.

After a year of writing, drawing and traveling I started a new phase of my career in retail management with Roots Canada and a small independent boutique. I learned first hand the type of interactions, information and experiences consumers are craving.

In search of a new challenge, I found myself working for an E-Commerce brand, where I focused on social media, influencer marketing, brand partnerships, photoshoot and video shoot production and copywriting. I have furthered my knowledge in the field through Social Media & Digital Marketing courses at Brainstation and Photography Courses at GTA Photography.

My background has given me the analytical skills required to make strategic marketing decisions and the creative skills required to effectively convey a brand story through images, video and copy.

In my new freelance role I am honoured to have the chance to help tell the stories of so many wonderful businesses. I hope to have the chance to help you tell yours!

When I'm not working you can usually find me spinning at RIDE Cycle Club, inhaling and exhaling at SAANA Yoga or hanging out with my dog George. If you can't find me at any of those locations, I'm taking some time out by the lake or ocean and I'll be back soon with a fresh dose of creativity.
