Bohemian Summer
Summer brings out the free spirit in a lot of us – here in Toronto, we’re busy meeting up with friends for park hangs, strolling by the waterfront, dancing at music festivals, hunting for rooftop pools to cool down in and having patio drinks.
I have so many things on my ‘Summer To Do’ list and I really appreciate pieces that can take me all the way through my day. Kimonos are the perfect item to wear for any of the aforementioned activities that fill up my summer months. My collection is extensive and I pretty much live in my kimonos from June through August. These western-inspired boots from the Jeffrey Campbell for Free People collection really do the trick too and pair great with so many summer outfits. The cut outs make the boots flattering on bare legs and have the added bonus of helping you beat the heat. I added a few vintage bangles and a meditation ring from Soul of a Gypsy, an amazing jewelry designer from Niagara-on-the-Lake, to complete the look.
